Blockchain in Transportation Alliance (BiTA)
The Factom protocol is now officially a member of the Blockchain in Transportation Alliance. We believe BiTA is going to be a great opportunity for us to market our blockchain to the transportation industry and we look forward to reporting on events as they unfold. Voice of Blockchain Event
We’re pleased to announce that the protocol will be a gold sponsor at the Voice of Blockchain conference at the end of September. This is a three-day event which should give us some great exposure. More to come on this.

Comparison Chart
This is a call for help from the community. Are you familiar with how the protocol compares with other blockchains? If so you might be able to give us some insight for an upcoming project we’re working on. We’re trying to build an accurate document which we can use for future marketing materials. Blockchain Event Research and Tracking
The committee is very interested in maximizing our presence at conferences and events. If you're planning on attending any this year please get in touch with us as we can offer support and assistance.
We’re also researching events for sponsorship so if there are events which you believe would be a good fit for the protocol please let us know.
We will be compiling all the information we get to help everyone in the community know what events are coming up and who will be attending so you don’t miss the opportunity to network with each other.

Marketing Grant Update
Work is underway on the first stage of the marketing grant. Several Draft RFP documents have been created for social media management, public relations and brand messaging and identity services.
Brand messaging and identity RFP has been distributed to 13+ agencies. The PR and Social Media RFPs will be distributed starting next week.
Explainer Video Grant Update
The committee has reviewed the first draft of the script. We’ve made the first round of amendments and changes which have been submitted to the producers. We’re now waiting for a second draft of the script which we expect should be ready within the next week.
Progress on Metrics
We’re still working on a dashboard which will become the basis for our monthly analytics report. We’re also seeking advice on some aspects of the report to ensure that we’re not publicly releasing any sensitive information. We expect to onboard a new committee member who is a very experienced data scientist and should be able to help with putting things together. If all goes well you can expect to see the results of our labor next month.
Media Pack - Next Steps
We’re currently working on extending the media pack to contain template graphics which can be used at events and for speaker slides. We will also be reaching out to our newly elected ANOs to ensure that their information is also included within the media pack.
